Arq 1.4.4 is out!

This release fixes a bug that causes high CPU usage after Arq Agent has been running for many hours and there are backup errors (e.g. folder to be backed up isn’t available).

Pick “Check for Updates” from the Arq menu to automatically update to 1.4.4. Or download Arq here.

  1. This removed my previous backups from being listed in Arq.

  2. Yikes! Could you send me some logging information please? Here’s what to do:

    1. Open Console.app and filter for “Arq”
    2. Pick File -> Save a Copy As… and save it to a file
    3. Email the file to support@haystacksoftware.com

    Thanks!

  4. There’s a bug where Arq doesn’t cache all the S3 “pack indexes” — it just assumes Arq Agent did that — and it silently shows nothing if it doesn’t find the right cached pack indexes.
The S3 data should all still be there.
If you let Arq Agent run for a while and then launch Arq again, you should see those backup versions.

    I will fix this ASAP.
