Arq version 2.5 is now available!
This update includes a new feature that posts a Growl notification when a backup completes. It’s useful for folks who hide the menubar icon; now they have a way to know when the backup completes without launching the Arq app. It’s optional — you can turn it off in the preferences.
There are also several bug fixes.
It’s a free update for all Arq users. Pick “Check for Updates” from the Arq menu to get the update.
As always, full release notes for all Arq versions are on theĀ release notes page.

Hello,
” a new feature that posts a Growl notification when a backup completes”
Can you add a growl-notification when an backup failed? Seems to make more sense then adding a notification for a backup that succeed.

Sorry I wasn’t more clear. It does growl when a backup fails as well as when it succeeds.

@Jelle According to release notes, the optional Growl notifications are for success and for errors.

Hey, got around on fixings the network settings? Living on an 1Mbps means the 1st sync will bog down my connection unless I apply some limits
