Arq plugin for Sidekick

Arq Forum member jmah did some reverse-engineering of Arq and posted a message about a plugin he wrote for Sidekick which tells Arq to back up whenever he returns home.

The source code is on github.

Really clever! I love it.

  1. Any chance a simple set of commands like those used (or at least some of the other AgentService commands) might be available through a public API, or perhaps AppleScript?

    It’d be nice to at least have some simple stop/start/status commands that could be used not only with sidekick, but other geolocation tools like ControlPlane. Of course anything additional would be nice too :-)
