To tell Arq which folders to back up, press the "+" button at the bottom of the window, select the folder and click "Open". Repeat for additional folders.
Alternatively, drag folders from the Finder onto the left pane of the Arq main window to add them for backup.
Arq will immediately back up the folders you've added. Whenever files change in those folders, those changes will be backed up as well.
