S3 Keys

Arq uses Amazon S3 for storage, so you'll need to create an Amazon account and sign it up for S3 service.

• Sign up for Amazon S3

S3 uses 2 "keys", an "Access Key ID" and a "Secret Access Key". To find out what the keys are for your Amazon account, go to the Security Credentials page and look for the Access Credentials section:

• Open Security Credentials page

In the "Access Keys" tab of the table you'll see "Your Access Keys".

• Read the Access Key ID in the table.
• Click the "Show" link to see your Secret Access Key.
