Duplifinder finds duplicate photos and videos in your iPhoto Library. First, it "catalogs" your photos and videos, generating its own unique identifier for each item:

When the cataloging is complete, it shows the originals and their duplicates:

Items are shown with caption and event name. Duplicates are grouped together.

Take Action

Double-click on a photo to select it in iPhoto. This helps with evaluating which duplicate to delete.
Select a photo (or multiple photos) and press the Delete key to immediately move them to the Trash in iPhoto.
Click "Move all duplicates to iPhoto Trash" to move all but the first item in each grouping to the Trash.
Click "Rescan" to re-catalog the iPhoto Library and refresh the list of duplicates.
